Baptism service was observed with the following children baptized - Kelly Andre John Beaucage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Beaucage (nee Kathy Bristow); Paul Gerald Henke and Sonya Anne Henke, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerlad Henke, Jason Neilly Malcolm, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Malcolm. Reverend Arthur Rodgers officiated and special music was supplied as fol-. lows: - a duet "Mother" by Laurie and Larry Rodgers with accordian accompaniment accompaniment by Laurie. A solo by Lana Malcolm "Whisper a Prayer" accompanied by Ernestine Robinson on the electric organ. Candy and Eileen Malcolm assisted with the scripture reading. Rev. Rodgers' message was based on the theme of the significance significance of a "Home" in family living, Mr. and Mrs. David Robinson Robinson and Tanya of Stroud were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Balfour Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Oram Moore and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Pick of Bickering were Sunday evening evening dinner guests of Malconia. Mrs. Evelyn Philp of Bowmanville Bowmanville and Miss Candy Malcolm of T.O. were weekend weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Malcolm. Pleased to hear that Mrs. Hazel Whittaker is back home to her Lindsay apartment following a brief stay in Ross Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Van den Rroek of Pontypool and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Malcolm of Yelverton were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Raez of Ashburn for an enjoyable social evening. Many local students of I.E. Weldon were present on Friday evening at the I.E. Weldon annual formal dance held in the gymnasium. Miss Wilma Van den Brock of . Pontypool was Social Convenor Convenor for the occasion. Miss Mona Malcolm was one of the five princesses chosen from the student body from which a queen was chosen during the evening formalities.
